There will be music acts over at least three venue sites the weekend of 9-11th October in Derby. The venues include The Old Bell Hotel, The Chapel Street Arts Centre and the Derby Museums. It promises to be a weekend of nourishing soul food ...in musical form! Come along and see us play here! We are honoured to be invited!

Sore Fingers is The UK (and indeed Europe's) premiere residential course for learning instruments (including voice) in the Bluegrass, American Old Time and traditional American Folk genres. There is an extended course in April (school Easter vacation, usually beginning on Easter Sunday/ Monday). In October, this is the taster weekend. Enjoy two full days singing with Sue Pomeroy and Roger Jackson. Roger Jackson is a leading community choir leader and both Sue and Roger have previously been tutors at this event. With their experience, you will expand your repertoire and sing in harmony with others in the beautiful surroundings of Lord Wandsworth College, nr Hook, Hampshire

We feel so privileged to be taking to this double-bill stage with Vera van Heeringen. She is an immensely talented song-writer and guitarist (multi-instrumentalist, actually). The audience at Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre is one of the most welcoming, warm-hearted groups of folks we've met!
